Fortunately, there are some generic Windows 98 USB mass storage device drivers available that work with most such devices. There is actually a third party Service Pack for Windows 98 Second Edition which is still being updated well intoeven though Microsoft ended their support for Windows 98 on the 11th of July ! I am assuming that you extracted the driver for the USB drive?

Missed this info last time. After restart and after insertion of the USB flash drive it successfully installed itself. The original disks and CDs went the way of a fire druzer few years ago and I have been trying to reconstruct the operating systems from another old pc along with Colorado tapes. All of the Sandisk products seem to be compatible with only Windows 98SE.
